A Noisette or Tea-Noisette, raised by Pradel in 1864, a seedling of ‘Isabella Gray’. Flowers large, with a good scent. This was the most famous greenhouse rose of the late 19th century, and is still lovely, not too rampant, with pale yellow, nodding flowers from almost every leaf bud. it flowers in early spring under glass, later in the open where the colour is a more golden yellow. Very healthy indoors, and easily grown; mainly once-flowering with some late-summer flowers. Min. -10°C. The specimens photographed were collected at Mottisfont Garden Hampshire UK. | ||||
