A large climbing Tea, a pure white sport of ‘Belle Portugaise’, of unrecorded origin. Once-flowering, in spring. Flowers with very long, pointed buds, opening to semi-double flowers. A very tall climber up to around 25 feet. Photographed at Descanso Gardens near Los Angeles USA, the open flower is by Bill Grant.
