A climbing Tea, raised by Cayeux in 1903. Plant very rampant to 30 feet, 10m or more. Flowers pale translucent flesh-pink, large and loosely double with long buds, in spring only. Min. -10°C. Parentage: a hybrid of R. gigantea, perhaps crossed with ‘Reine Marie Henriette’ a climbing HT. Exceptionally vigorous, the plant in Eccleston Square grew to over 20 feet in three years, early flowering. Photographed in Eccleston Square London UK. |
