A Tea rose, raised by Nabonnand in 1878. Flowers quite small, of particularly rich colouring, the crimson buds opening to show pink petals with a deeper back. Open flowers rather loose, with a delicate scent. Stalks purplish. This excellent rose flowers almost continuously, and will form a large shrub in a mild-winter climate, such as California, London or the Mediterranean. In Eccleston square it took about five years to develop but since then has repeat-flowered from as early as February through to December; it climbs to about 20 feet.

Photographed in Eccleston Square London UK.
