A tea rose with nodding double flowers of the palest pink to creamy white, produced in clusters; scent moderate. Plant usually small, to 3 feet (1m). This rose is famous as a parent of ‘La France’, said to be the first hybrid tea. Raised by Guillot of Pont Cherin in 1846. |
