Introduced by Cochet in 1893. A lovely rose with red twigs and dark green, shining leaves. The flowers are basically pale pink with a yellowish flush in the centre. There is also a lovely white sport, with creamy flowers, the outer petals reddish, grown in California. Good scent; height to 4 feet (1.2m) or more in the climbing form. Zone 7, will survive down to 5-0°F (–15°C). Photographed in Bermuda.
