A Parkland series shrub rose bred by Collicutt and Marshall, introduced in 1988. Zone 3, will survive down to –35°C. This is a complex hybrid. The seed parent was a hybrid of 'Prairie Princess' and 'Morden Amorette'. The pollen parent was a complex hybrid involving 'Prairie Princess', 'White Bouquet', 'Assiniboine' and R. arkansana. Photographed at the Royal Botanical Gardens, Hamilton (near Toronto), Ontario. The photos are too pink especially the close up to give a true impression. The rose can be this pink if grown in shade or in very cool weather but it is not the usual colour.
