An Explorer series rose bred by Ogilvie and introduced in 1992. . In 1805-1807 Simon Fraser opened fur-trading posts in the interior of present day British Columbia. In 1808 he travelled down the treacherous river, now called the Fraser, to the Pacific. Originated from a cross of breeding line derived from 'Bonanza', 'Arthur Bell', 'Red Dawn' and 'Suzanne', and a line derived from R. kordesii, 'Red Dawn', 'Suzanne' and 'Champlain'. Zone 3, will survive down to –35°C.
