A China raised by Vibert in 1827. A low-growing plant with single flowers of deep purplish crimson. Brent Dickerson quotes Mrs Gore, who, in the Rose Fancier’s Manual of 1838 described the petals as spathulated, that is wide and rounded at the tip. Photographed at the Sangerhausen Rosarium Germany. | ||||
