A low shrub with upright stems around 1m high. Flowers pink, in small clusters, medium-sized, semi-double and deeply cupped, with about 8 rows of overlapping petals around a good head of stamens, with strong myrrh scent, produced continously throughout the summer. Raised by David Austin in 1992, and named for England, from John of Gaunt’s speech, when old and sick:
