The bush form was introduced by Pernet-Ducher in 1890; the old Climbing form was introduced by Chauvry in 1901. A vigorous climber to about 15 feet (5m) in height. It repeat flowers a little. The second shot was photographed at the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden, California, USA.
