A old Large Flowered Climber introduced by Hoopes Bros & Thomas in 1909. Not a climbing sport of 'Ameican Beauty'. Our specimen was photographed at Cypress Hill Cemetary California USA by John Starnes, where it had been growing since before the First World War. Also photographed at the Sangerhausen Rosarium Germany and by Bill Grant.
