A rampant climber up to 8m or more with flowers opening pale buff and petals with a mucronate apex. A seedling which occurred at Highdown, Worthing in Sussex UK and was introduced by Sir Frederick Stern. It is very well scented and free flowering but the flowers are spoiled by rain, becoming spotted dull red, Probably a hybrid of R. sinowilsonii. Zone 6, will survive down to –20°C
