A China hybrid, perhaps with a Gallica or a Noisette, introduced by Prévost in around 1825. Shrub, very floriferous. Branches slender and vine-like; flowers double, cup-shaped, small, pink, the inner petals marked with a white line. (Description from Mrs Gore’s Rose Fancier’s Manual, quoted by Brent Dickerson).
