A low rather untidy, very thorny spreading shrub to a height of 50cms. Bred by J. Harkness and introduced introduced in 1986. Jack Harkness made many crosses using plants of Rosa Persica grown from seed given him by Alexander Cocker of Aberdeen. ‘Tigris is one of the most successful with semi double yellow flowers with the distinctive yellow , about 3cm across, it flowers continuously. It is rather tender, and benefits from a dry sunny position. | ||||
