An old Climbing Hybrid Tea introduced by Mallerin in 1938. Parentage; 'Sovenir de Claudius Denoyel' x 'Ami Quinard'. One of the darkest red roses to be found, with a superb scent. Height to 15 feet (4.5m). Photographed by Bill Grant.
