ROSA x MACRANTHA Desp. A hybrid of R. gallica, the other parent uncertain, possibly R. x alba, probably not R. canina which is often quoted as the other parent. Flowers large around 7cm across, palest pink when first open, later white, well-scented, single or semi-double. Sepals soon falling.
Zone 5, will survive down to –25°C.
