Rosa Pimpinellifolia ‘Nana’ syn. R. spinoissima ‘Nana’ This dwarf semi-double white flowered form of the Scotch rose is probably the one illustrated by Andrews in 1805, thus it must probably date from before then. Early flowering and very floriferous, flower width about 3cm. Growth to about 50cm in height. Difficult to get hold of but worth asking for. Our specimen was collected in the Cambridge Botanic Garden UK. Zone 5, will survive down to –25°C.
