A multiflora Rambler introduced by Igoult, France in 1924. Rich purple flowers in small trusses, growth to 15 feet (4.5m), once flowering. Height to 15 feet (4.5m). A seedling of ‘Veilchenblau’, a vigorous rambler that is almost free of prickles. The second picture was taken in the Monza Trial Grounds outside Milan, Italy, by Bill Grant
