A Hybrid Tea introduced by Archer in 1927. Flowers crimson shaded maroon with a darker reverse; scent strong, damask. It won the cup for best new scented seedling awarded by the Daily Mail newspaper in UK 1927. Parentage: ‘Château de Clos Vougeot’ x ‘Kitchener of Khartoum’.
