A Hybrid Tea introduced by McGredy in 1929. Pointed buds, flowers scarlet-copper-orange the reverse heavily flushed with red; double; scent moderate; growth vigorous. GM Portland 1956. There is a very well known climbing sport. Parentage; (‘Donald Macdonald’ x ‘Golden Emblem’) x (seedling x ‘The Queen Alexandra Rose’. Photographed at the Tête d’Or garden Lyon France. | ||||
