An old climbing rose introduced by Pedro Dot in 1927. An important early flowering climber with very large flowers and large fat hips in autumn. Large light pink flowers with the reverse stained crimson, scent moderate; growth to 14 feet (4.5m). GM Bagatelle 1927. John Cook Medal ARS 1929. Parentage; ‘Frau Karl Druschki’ x ‘Château de Clos Vougeot’. Photographed in the wonderful garden of David & Suzanna Beaumont, Mont de Rose S Australia, the second picture was taken in Eccleston Square London UK, the third again in Australia.
