A Hybrid Tea introduced by Gaujard in 1943. (Not to be confused with modern one with the same name). Large yellow blooms, slight fragrance, dark, leathery foliage, vigorous bushy, compact growth. AARS 1944. Named for the Nobel Prize winning French chemist (1867-1934). Photographed by Bill Grant.
