An old Climbing rose introduced by Laxton Bros. in 1926. Brilliant crimson-red, semi-double flowers borne in clusters, blooms repeatedly up to autumn; scent moderate. Parentage: Rosa wichurana x ‘Slater’s Crimson China’. (Despite its name this rose is normally included in Climbers). Photographed at Roseraie l’Hay-les-Rose south of Paris, France.
