A China rose introduced by Guillot in 1894. Buds elongated nasturtium-red to orange-yellow at the base, flowers coppery-rose, very variable from nankeen yellow to bright china rose, double, comes into flower rather late but then repeats right up to winter frosts; growth vigorous, bushy. A seedling of ‘Mme Laurette Messimy’. Photographed at the garden of Sally Allison near Christchurch New Zealand.
