A Pernetiana Rose the first of this class introduced in 1900 by Pernet-Ducher, it was a big breakthrough in colour in its day as it brought the yellow-orange colours of the Rosa foetida group into the modern roses. Flowers orange-yellow to ruddy gold, shaded nasturtium red; scent moderate; foliage rich green, growth vigorous. Parentage: said to be a croos between a seedling of 'Antoine Ducher and Rosa foetida persiana.
