A Hybrid Tea introduced by Bees, UK in 1949. Large open bright red flowers with a strong scent, good repeat flowering, a low growing shrub. There is also a climbing form of this rose, a sport discovered by Bees in 1954. Some consider this form superior to the shrub. RNRS Ground Certificate 1953. Parentage; ‘Crimson Glory’ x ‘Madge Whipp’. Photographed at the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden in California by Bill Grant.
