A Hybrid Tea introduced by McGredy in 1946. Buds long, pointed, Flowers double, rose-red with a lighter reverse, 25 petals, scent intense, foliage leathery, growth upright vigorous. AARS 1947. GM Portland 1945. Parentage; 9’McGredy’s Scarlet’ x ‘Mrs sam McGredy’) x (seedling x ‘Sir Basil McFarland’). Photographed at the Sangerhausen Rosarium Germany.
