A Rambler discovered by Odile Masquelier in her garden in Lyon. It is a chance seedling that bloomed for the first time in Spring 1990. Very very vigorous, it climbs up to over 30 feet (9m). It is thornless a great attribute as most of the very large white Ramblers are very thorny, hence its name 'BAMBOU'. Huge corymbs of large white apple blossom like flowers, fading to pink in wet weather. Light perfume. Large orange hips enhanced by the pale green foliage. A wonderfull sight in fall and winter. Photographed by Bill Grant in Odile’s garden La Bonne Maison Lyon, France. | ||||
