A Rambler introduced by Louis Weigand, Soden, in 1902. Large clusters of brilliant red flowers, growth quite vigorous, some repeat. ‘Can’t be exceeded’ is the translation of the name. In some ways it is true as it is superior to one of its parents – ‘Turner’s Crimson Rambler’. Also its blooming period lasts longer. Parentage; ‘Turner’s Crimson Rambler’ x ‘Mlle Blance Rebatel’. Photographed by Bill Grant in his own garden. | ||||
