A Bourbon rose introduced by Jean Laffay in 1835. Medium size, bright pink quartered, very double flowers, well scented, a low branching bush, some repeat blooming in autumn. Named for the officer who served in Napoleon’s army in Spain and Italy, Jean Victor Allard. This is a parent rose of the earliest Hybrid Perpetuals.
