A Moss rose introduced by Lambert in 1911. Single dark crimson flowers with golden stamens, tall vigorous growth, some repeat. Named for the famous German poet, dramatist, scientist Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749-1832). This is one of the most attractive moss blooms. Photographed in the Coloma Rose Garden in Brussels, Belgium, by Bill Grant.
