A Moss rose, original introducer and date unknown. Large, full, and heavily mossed deep pink flowers, strongly scented, medium sized bush. This rose was re-introduced by Peter Beale’s nursery in 1984. It was grown by the famous rosarian Humphrey Brooke, who said his family had grown it for several generations. Beales believes it is one of the earliest English moss roses. Photographed at the Vrijbroek Rose Garden in Brussels, Belgium, by Bill Grant
