A relatively modern hybrid, raised by Guillot in 1895, with well -shaped, fully double flowers throughout the season, well into autumn. The colour varies from Salmon to pale pink or white tinted with pink. Leaves often purplish. A low plant rarely reaching more than 60cm (2ft), so ideal for the front of a border or other choice position. Parentage: a seedling of 'Mme Laurette Messimy', itself a Tea seedling, usually classed as a China. The two field shots were photographed at Mottisfont Garden Hampshire UK. | ||||||||
