A Portland rose. This is a very confused name and a very confused rose. Listed as a Portland in Roses 11 (2000). Brent Dickerson has a long entry about it in "The Old Rose Adventurer (1999 page 497), and he reports a white version which might fit our picture, but he tends to refer it to Damask.
