Introduced in Holland, date unknown, but first recorded in 1843. Stems arching, around 1.5m.Leaflets elliptic, deep green. Flowers in 2's or 3's, fully double, quartered, medium-sized, deep pink in the centre, becoming gradually paler towards the edge. Scent average. Note the colour is described as deep pink, our pictures seem to be rather too light or too dark. Photographed at the François Joyaux’s Roseraie de la Cour de Commer near Mayenne France, by Bill Grant. | ||||||
