An Hybrid Alba introduced by Plantier in 1835. The flowers are creamy white changing to pure white with a green button eye, very double; scent moderate; the foliage is rather small with normally, seven leaflets. It can be grown as a lax shrub to about 5 feet or a climber up to about 12 feet. The Parentage is thought to be Rosa alba x Rosa moschata. Photographed at the garden of Richard Rix Kent UK, the more distant shot was photographed at Mottisfont Garden Hampshire UK. | ||||||||||||||||
