Rosa x harisonii ‘Harison’s Yellow’ THE YELLOW ROSE OF TEXAS (R. foetida x R. pimpinellifolia) Raised by George Folliot Harison or possibly his father Richard early in the 19th century, both were layers and keen gardeners in New York. Mid yellow semi-double flowers on a shrub to 2m in height. This rose was often carried west by the American pioneers and can be found naturalised in western North America. |
