Introduced by Lambert in 1904.
'Aglaia' X with the Hybrid Tea 'Mrs R. G. Sharman Crawford'. 'Aglaia' itself was a hybrid between Rosa multiflora and the Noisette 'Reve d'Or'. Thus 'Trier' should belong in the rambler section, but we have placed it here because it is a parent of so many of the early Hybrid Musk group. It can be grown as a large shrub or trained as a rambler. The distant view was photographed by Bill Grant.
