Introduced by Vibert around 1846.
Stems arching to 1.5m, with few thorns. Leaflets rather small, elliptic. Flowers usually in groups or 3 or 4, fully double, rgularly quartered, with a small button eye and a tight rosette of curld petals in the centre; in colour purplish-pink, with shadows and speckles. Scent very good.
