A hybrid eglanteria Shrub introduced by Penzance in 1890. (Rosa eglantaria X 'Harrison's Yellow'). Yellowish buff with pink tinted flowers followed by red hips, the foliage sweetly scented of apples. Zone 5, will survive down to –25°C. The specimens photographed were collected at the Royal Horticultural Society Garden, Wisley, Surrey, UK.
