Some authors place this rose in the Polyantha section. A dwarf China or Poly-pom, raised by P. Rambaux in 1875 and introduced by F. Dubreuil in 1883. A low shrub with vigorous branching shoots of numerous small, pale apricot-yellow flowers like small tea roses, opening flat with a crowded centre. This is like a yellow version of the commoner, pink-flowered ‘Cécile Brunner’. Parentage: ‘Polyantha Alba Plena’ x ‘Mme Falcot’. Photographed at Hestercombe Garden in Somerset UK and in Australia by Lilia Weatherly.
