The early Hybrid Musk roses were mostly raised by the Rev. Joseph Pemberton at Havering-atte-Bower in Essex UK. Lambert in Germany continued work on this group as also have Kordes, Tantau and Boerner. Laterly a large contribution has been made in Belgium by Louis Lens. The Louis Lens Nursery, Redinnestraat 11, 8460 Oudenburg Belgium continues to produce new cultivars to add to their extensive list of Hybrid Musks.
